morning! sorry for the delay ya? :D i was way too sleepy to blog last night cuz by the time i finished bathing, it was already 1.30am.. lol~ anyway let's back track a little.. :D yesterday i met up with evan @ amk hub in the afternoon.. after which, i brought her to [ladyfinger nail spa] for her FIRST classic pedicure session! muahahaha~ evan was really excited about it, and her expression was super duper hilarious! sheesh~ and of course, i had my nails done too! so pretty and princessy ya? YAY~











after which, evan and i went down to [MOF] @ marina square for dinner! YUMMY~ and yeah.. we had a great time gossiping and laughing! :D

































after dinner, we leisurely walked over to esplanade.. and then this silly evan suddenly became emo.. oh dear~ so in the end, we went down to clarke quay for some drinks..







i brought evan to [fashion bar], and we ordered a bottle of white wine! WOOHOO~ nice music, good ambience, great company! :D CHEERS~

movie of the day: Cyborg She


omg~ this touching time-spanning sci-fi romance was simply awesome! it's really hilarious, and super duper SWEET! *aww* and yes, hayase haruka is very pretty! :D [rating: 8/10] check it out ya? :D

USA has won the olympic men's basketball gold medal, defeating Spain 118-107 in the championship game.. WOOHOO~ this was indeed the best game ever, and i was so damn freaking HIGH while i was watching the match! lol~ in order not to miss this match, i hailed a cab.. and then despite the rain, i ran all the way home upon alighting! muahahaha~ oh luckily i had weili to keep me informed and updated.. thanks dude! and yes, kobe bryant rocks! woohoo~ dwyane wade and carmelo anthony played very well too! :D YAY~









ok, let's back track a little.. lol~ anyway i met up with zhenzhi in the late morning @ cine.. and YAY~ we had a lot of fun cam-whoring together! :D after which, we went for our movie.. woohoo~ and guessed what? there were only 5 people (including us) in the theatre! muahahaha~

1 word to describe this movie: HORRIFYING! (-.-)"' it's so freaking scary that zhenzhi and i ended up screaming like mad women! lol~ [rating: 7.5/10] check it out ya? AHHHHHH~





4BIA is a portmanteau horror flick consisting of 4 horror stories directed by 4 of Thailand's most talented directors. The first, directed by Yongyoot Thongkongtoon is titled "Happiness" but don't let the title of the movie mislead you. "Tit For Tat" directed by Paween Purijitpanya (Body) gives a mystically dark and gruesome twist to the meaning of "an Eye for an Eye". Then there is "In The Middle" directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun (Shutter and Alone) and his teenage tale that totally walks off the Buddhist beaten path and on to a horrifyingly humorous escapade that may leave you laughing more than 'shuttering', excuse the pun. Finally "Last Fright" directed by Parkpoom Wongpoom (Shutter, Alone) is a psychological thriller that reminds all of us of the old adage "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" except if you are the 'other' woman on the receiving end.

woohoo~ Argentina was trashed by USA during the semi-final last night, and YAY~ i'm so looking forward to tmr's finals.. :D USA vs Spain! woohoo~ and yes, it was already 3.30am by the time the semi-final ended.. lol~ anyway i went down to town in the early afternoon to meet up with evan and edwina.. and yeah, we had our lunch @ [Din Tai Fung]! YUMMY~

































after lunch, we went on a shopping spree.. and YAY~ 我们都有收获哦！:D i bought a pretty nice A-line skirt from forever 21.. edwina and evan bought 4 tops and 1 belt from lime flea market.. :D







after which, we cabbed down to juliana's church to help out with her wedding preparation.. writing the names of her guests on the wedding invitation cards and envelopes.. making ribbons.. yeah, stuffs like that.. :D



















it was still raining then, so we ended up taking a cab down to town.. :X and then we had our scrumptious dinner @ [PS cafe]! YUMMY~

























after dinner, we walked over to cine for our movie.. and YAY~ the show was awesome! :D some parts were pretty violent and gross, but overall it was pretty good.. :D very interesting, very exciting! and i simply loved the twist at the end.. woohoo~ and yes, jason statham's figure is so damn good! *slurps* oh and i think natalie martinez is really HOT! *winks* [rating: 8/10]

met up with linhui and ningsi at jurong point in the afternoon.. and then we had our lunch @ [crystal jade kitchen]! :D YUMMY~ and while we were eating, we started to talk about some BGR stuffs.. and i realise people like to ask me this question: what type of guys do you like? hmmm.. tough question! but here's my answer: i'm attracted to guys who have a good sense of humour, witty, understanding, confident, family-oriented, tall, athletic and musically inclined! :) but i think ultimately it's the FEEL that really matters ya? :P anyway after lunch, we went to school together.. :D























school was pretty relaxing today even though i had to do a short presentation during my dsc200 tutorial.. :D my last tutorial ended at 5.15pm.. after which, i went down to city hall to meet up with lynette! :D we slowly walked over to suntec city, and then we had our dinner @ [fish & co.]! after my ded200 project discussion, linhui and i went to the library to meet up with peileng, yiqing and san for our dcc200 project discussion.. and yay~ we have more or less completed our powerpoint! :D lalala~ linhui, peileng, yiqing and i then went down to amk hub to do some shopping! after which, we had our lunch cum dinner @ [sticky rice].. yes, sticky rice again! LOL~ yeah, that's peileng's favourite! :P





























peileng, linhui and i went over to junction 8 after our dinner.. and yay~ peileng bought herself a new pair of shoes from [pazzion].. finally huh? lol~ after which, we went to [precious thots] to get birthday cards.. lalala~ and since it was still pretty early, we went to [haagen·dazs] for ice cream! yummy~ :D











anyway we happily slacked around at [haagen·dazs] until 8pm before we finally went home.. :D oh btw~ tan aiai wanted me to help her advertise 2 tops.. so TA DAH! scroll down and check it out ya? :D

monday PINK! :D

woke up at 11am this morning, feeling good! :D yup, cuz i don't have to go to school today.. YAY~ met up with my dear linhui @ yishun station in the afternoon.. and then we had our lunch at [swensens] @ north point! yummy~



















after lunch, linhui and i went down to [nail palace] @ sun plaza to do our nails! :D both of us knew all the staff there very well, so it was really fun! :D and yes, pretty nails make me HAPPY! :D









anyway we happily watched the olympic: women's weightlifting 53-58kg (finals) on channel 5 while they were doing our nails, and WOW~ all of us were super duper impressed with Chen Yanqing from China! with a total point of 244, she has won the gold medal! and yes, she's really STRONG! look at her muscles.. *shivers*







while i was on my way home, i was listening to 戴爱玲's [对的人].. yeah, it's happened to be the first track on my mp3 song list.. and wow~ 我听了这首歌之后，感触很深..

oh btw~ i have just finished reading [Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus] by John Gray.. and YAY~ it's really awesome! LOVE it~ :D John Gray gives advice on how to counteract the differences between men and women in terms of communication styles, emotional needs and modes of behaviour to promote a greater understanding between individual partners.. yup, pretty cool huh? :P check it out!

7 steps to being truly HAPPY!





1. Accept That You Deserve To Be Happy.

If you don't think that you deserve to be happy, then no wonder you're not. The messages you give yourself determine what direction your life will take. If you are telling yourself that you are unworthy or don't deserve happiness, then how can you expect to be happy?


2. Accept Who You Are.

Being happy today is accepting who you are; the good, the bad and the ugly. It's knowing that you are doing the best you can do, and being content with that. I'm not saying to ignore what you'd like to improve in your life, but if you only see what's missing, you lose out on "loving" what's great about you.


3. Be Comfortable Where You Are.

Being happy today means being comfortable where you are in the present, not where you would like to be in the future. It's about being in awe for the opportunity to learn something new each day. You don't know what your life will bring tomorrow, so you might as well enjoy where you are today.


4. Appreciate Your Life.

Being happy today means being grateful for your life. Whether it's being grateful for having your health, a job, a place to live, food everyday, or a family that loves you. If you knew that you were going to die in 90 days, would you do things differently? Guess what? You are going to die one day, and you don't know if you even have 90 days. Gratitude, not blame will give you happiness and freedom.


5. Ask For Help.

Being happy means not keeping your problems to yourself. It also means that you ask for support when you need it, and let others contribute to your life. Most of us don't ask for help because we don't want to burden the people around us. But, if someone asked you for assistance, wouldn't you lend a helping hand? Then why wouldn't you let others do the same for you?


6. Do Something Nice For Someone Else.

Being happy today is doing something nice for someone else. This could be as simple as holding the door for the person behind you, or as big as volunteering your time to your favorite charity. Your problems become smaller when you are not always thinking about them. When you take the focus off yourself, it is easier to see how great your life really is.


7. Do Something That Will Move You Forward.

Being happy is taking steps that will move you forward. Movement keeps you from feeling like a victim. When you're unhappy, formulating a plan puts you in a different place and helps change your perspective. It also put the power back in your hands!

school was pretty relaxing today.. yeah, cuz i only had 2 tutorials today.. lol~ after school, linhui and i went down to jurong point for bubble tea! yay~ and then i went down to NUS to pass something to jasmin.. after which, lynette waited for me at the science faculty bus stop, and then we went to the science library to mug.. :D weili came to join us a while later, and then we stayed at the library until 7.30pm.. WOW~











after which, we went to [mega bites] for dinner.. :D oh and the chicken cutlet there was pretty good! :P after dinner, we went home together.. and yup! that's about it for today.. :D







alright, time to take a break! *yawns* lalala~ i'm so looking forward to tmr! a dinner date with linhui, peileng and yiqing! whee~ nitey peeps! :D

after our dcc201 lecture, linhui and i went to the library to print our lecture notes.. after which, we walked over to [sakae sushi] @ NTU for lunch! :D peileng, yiqing and zhenzhi joined us at 12.30pm.. and yay~ it's a pretty good place to chill! :D oh yes.. dixie, kang li and xiao ying also went there for lunch, and they sat at the table behind us! lol~































anyway school ended at 3.30pm today.. after which, linhui and i went down to jurong point to buy some stuffs.. and yup! that's about it for today.. :D alright, time to do some research for my ded200 group assignment! ciaoz~

slept at 11.30pm.. woke up at 5.15am.. and OMG! i was so tired that i felt like skipping my 8.30am lecture.. *pouts* but of cuz i didn't.. boo~ oh and i estimated my travelling time wrongly.. *sighs* so i ended up reaching boonlay at 7.15am instead of 7.45am.. ARGH~ how stupid! :(











and yes.. my lectures were super duper BORING! (-.-)Zzz it took me a lot of effort to keep myself awake! ah doi~ all of us wanted to eat yong tau foo for lunch, but unfortunately it wasn't open.. so i ended up eating sliced fish hor fun..





anyway linhui and peileng left the school at around 2.45pm cuz they didn't have any classes after that.. so good~ *pouts* poor yiqing and i ended up lazing around @ [hotshot cafe] for 2 hours before we eventually went for our ded200 tutorial.. 4.30pm to 6.30pm.. :(







so by the time i reached home, it was already 8pm! :( 好可怜哦~ alright, time to watch all my drama series! whee~ nitey! :D

after which, i went down to amk hub to meet up with my parents for movie! yup, my treat! :D and yay~ i personally liked this movie very much! it's not only hilarious, but it's also very touching! i almost cried when 阿辉 ran off in tears upon sending his mum to the old folk's home.. boo hoo hoo~ [rating: 8/10] check it out ya? :D

Ten-years since the first Money No Enough, local celebrity auteur Jack Neo's "Money No Enough 2" returns to lampoon life in Singapore where money is never enough. The story revolves around three brothers from a middle-income background in contemporary Singapore. They are caricatures to represent the three income classes of Singaporeans. It is the filmmaker's wish that Money No Enough 2, through the trials and tribulations faced by the three Yang brothers, gives us insight into the lives of Singaporeans today and a chance to laugh at ourselves.


after the movie, i brought my parents to [sticky rice] for dinner! :D and yay~ they kind of liked the food there too! :D

met up with evan and edwina in town in the afternoon, and we had our yummylicious lunch @ [Spageddies] before we went for our movie! woohoo~

after the movie, we went SHOPPING! woohoo~ started off with taka.. and then we went to wisma and far east plaza.. :D oh and we ended up buying lots of stuffs! YAY~ retail therapy rocks! :D anyway we had indonesian food for dinner @ [77 Es Teler] before we went crazy and started to take bimbotic pictures..

































we left far east plaza at around 9.45pm.. after which, edwina and i took a cab down to [Dbl O] to meet up with my cousins (vanda, angeline, kenny) and their friends! :D RETRO NIGHT! woohoo~ and we happily danced all night long cuz all of us were pretty HIGH! many 小弟弟 tried to 搭讪, but 姐姐我不搞姐弟恋啦！sorry~



































we left [Dbl O] at around 3am.. and wow! it was really tiring.. lol~ anyway i took a cab home after that, and yup! that's about it for today.. :D alright, time for lunch! whee~
